Berra bathing in the hot spring: Iceland offers everything you could wish for in terms of motorcycle riding. The biggest roads we drive on are gravel roads and the smallest are tracks marked with a post or stones. This is a young island with active volcanoes and hot springs. Many places are barren and have no real vegetation, while along the coasts and rivers there is lush greenery. Fire, stone and water have created the most unusual formations and views.
Travelling on Iceland is the same as in the rest of Scandinavia (or better). No problems with the language (their English is perfect) or customs officials, people are friendly, you don’t have to be afraid of being tricked or robbed. The trip is not aimed at reaching culinary heights but of course it does contain "wilderness food experiences".
